Welcome To The Future Of Unlimited Possibilities

1 YEAR, 10,000 PIECES, 1 ARTIST

Live Streaming Video 24/7

On November 8th, 2008, I started on a path of creativity, that I had no initial idea of what the outcome would be.  As far as I knew on that day I was only commemorating my love for my cat named after Jackson Pollock (his story is in Project 4 page at the bottom) that had just passed away on that day.  I created four new paintings on 11"x14" paper and they were just completely different from any work I had done before so I numbered, signed & dated them not completely understanding the reason behind this.

Jump to November 7th, 2009, I had finished creating piece #10,202.

What happened between those two dates is nothing short of a creative miracle that I alone only have memories of.  3 months later the idea came to me for doing this again with LIVE STREAMING VIDEO 24/7, showing all the intimate details that an artist can go through in the creative process.  I had discovered things about myself as an artist (and as someone with a brain injury disability) that became so profound, insightful, inspirational and empowering that I have felt compelled to share this with others.  I made a commitment to myself in this process that no matter how bad my symptoms wold get from my Brain Injury (and they would get bad they I would spend all day in bed barely able to go to the bathroom) that I had to create at least one piece EVERY SINGLE DAY.  With this kind of commitment I knew it would make me into the type of artist I always knew I could be and it did.

With this experience I am wanting to share it again with the world in hopes to inspire others that have ever wondered about what it is like to see or understand an artist creative process as well as to be able to take this information and use it for themselves, in their own creativity.

It would be a YEAR LONG project that would entail 24/7 Live Streaming Video while I create, eat , sleep, gather materials, be on my computer and whatever else happens throughout my day.  There will be numerous cameras set up throught the studio areas and other area of the inhabitants as well as a remote one that would go along with me while I leave my home.  I would also, at times have the head set on while creating and possibly talking with people that might be online and interacting with them as if they were actually in the studio with me.

I also envision guest coming to the studio.  Guest that are not visual artist.  Perhaps a pianist, writer or even a basketball player and ask them to partake in creating with me.  In a way it would create new dialogue and a new perspective for people to understand what goes on in a visual artist world as they create a body of work like this.  This could even work to invite children's school classes to partake in creating work with me via online streaming.

Who I am as a person, as an artist, as a creative is equally important as what I create and will be a huge reflection of part of the experience as a whole.

Welcome to the future of new possibilities of sharing an artist creative life!
